Topic says it all really, is there an OCNZ IRC Channel and if so... what are the details?

Just wanted to know how to set up an irc channel and this looked like a promising place to ask. I was just thinking about setting up a channel for all the german exchange students currnetly in nz, but i don't use irc that much (it doesn't help your intelligence, does it).

Well, first you'd need an IRC server...
....and there are at least a half million 'how to make an channel in IRC' guides out there indexed by Google.
Making a channel is easy. You can make 50 if you're bored and have a spare half hour. The hard bit is making said channel USEFUL  . |

I would use it but I reside on the undernet and I dont think there is a ocnz chan there. Anyone else on irc can join ocnz on the undernet as well.

I'd idle, but it keeps disconnecting me because of downloading using all the bandwidth
