You're always getting banned over there. Cards are nice. BF3 is just so silky smooth now.

Now, but no one has any stock. Should be more next week. Playtech got 7 cards and sold them all within an hour of opening yesterday.

Thanks guys. Battlefield 3 is just so buttery smooth with these cards. It almost feels like cheating.

IMO wouldn't be worth the dollar cost, or power bill. Benchmarks are ok, but in game performance is pretty crap for more than two 580's. (Guess I am trying to say they doesn't scale well.)

680's are unbelievably quiet. Sometimes i'm not even sure the fans are working. Big difference over the Fermi series.

Look pretty good on power usage too not that its much of a big deal but Ive been hanging out to get back to nVidia after a while with ATI so the next tier down cards (7850 equivalent) should be good

It should be interesting when the new models come out. I would hope for some sharp pricing to. Although, that generally isn't Nvidia's style.

Default settings run.

Any idea on how they would compare noise wise to say an HD 4870 with a stock cooler (already very quiet which is why I got it a few years ago)?

Sorry, can't compare to that as I haven't heard one of those running.

No worries, I was more curious than thinking of upgrading. If I did get one the rest of my system would be a huge bottleneck anyway.

I've been waiting for this. My jaded, weary old-man senses are tingling.

Thanks for the thread
