Arrow PC Power & Cooling 510 Deluxe PSU Mini Review

Some people expressed an interest in what the big fuss is about these PSUs, so I've sorta thrown together a quick review for you to read. They are regarded as the best PSUs around but not too many people know about them in NZ, possibly due to them not being available here. Heck I only found out about them this year.

-> Review

Sorry, my digital camera is away at the moment so I borrowed a few images from the web.

Good review , I don't think I'd ever pay that much for a power supply though (as the most expensive component in my system is only $200 )

Also your comment about the maneuverability of the mobo connector on 350W enermaxs is unfortunatly very true; mine is currently shaped like a '?'

Well done on the review, it's 10x better than many reviews I've seen on much larger sites.

I think it would be fair to say though that the Enermax 470 isn't really designed to run a vapochill...

I think so. Could be expensive to send back, but if they can happily put a 5 year warranty on it and it has a MTBF of 11 years, I think it should last a while?

I can get it to about 4Ghz (250 FSB) stable and that's with max vcore. The RAM is memtest stable at 256 Mhz 2.5-3-3-7.

Unfortunately I think the motherboard is holding me back more than anything else now. When I set the vcore past 1.5500v it just won't boot, something to do with overvolt protection maybe? If I set it to 1.5500 it still droops a fair bit, down to 1.488v which isn't very good at all. If I could do more than 1.5500 I'm sure I could do more. There is a guy in the US getting his board modded to fix the problem. He will take pictures so I can maybe do the same if my soldering skills are up to scratch.
