Hi all, I don't suppose any nice member has a whole lot of windows xp updates already downloaded and able to be put on a cd for installation? Especially that pesky service pack....

I'm just about to install XP on a new system in a few days, and with my 56k connection it's gonna be a loooong time downloading all the updates...

If anyone can help, drop us a line, I'd be willing to repay the favour any way I can! :) (By loaning some games or divx movies or whatever) :)

I would, but I'm in east auck :)

However if u don't succeed in finding someone to loan it to u, u might wanna try the windows update corporate site. You can download them once and for all because you can save them and burn them or something.

Windows Update Corporate Site (http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp?corporate=true)

Grrr!!

I've got them all on my HDD.

If you want I can burn the lot off onto CD and snail mail them to you.

in addition to the corporate site you can just turn on the catalog feature under your options on the windows update site. then you can download updates for all wnidows to a folder on your harddrive.
