so i can spray em the same colour as my case, but not use the ones that are there already in case I a)want to sell it or b)go back to a beige case (not likely)
i know they're avalible in the states, but anyone in NZ stock this sorta thing? (and yes, i already checked OCNZ...)
so you wan't some more covers?
I'm doing the same thing, gonna paint some which I got of an old AT case and they fit.

i'm assuming you're talking about iCute cases? then email JB or Tastech or Dragon and ask. they are bound to have a few lying around from building up new systems.

I reckon use sticker paper/plastic, paint it, then stick it on

you mean the bezels? yeah, coloured ones would be handy but it's not very likely, given all the different drives out there all have bezels that differ slightly from each other (ruling out a universal jobby).
again your best bet is probably to email one of the friendly local retailers and ask if they have any poked drives lying about that you can maybe scavenge for parts.
the other option is to source black or gray drives, which are available in NZ, but would mean selling your current one(s).
what colour is your case anyway?

its the black iCute 627 one that i got from JB last week. There are a few standard CD drive faceplates, the one i want is C-2....the drive is the ASUS 2410 CDWriter...

Don't paint them.
Use a bit of glue & some snakeskin & it can peel of later.
Excuse the poor quality
