I am thinking of getting some games from http://cdz.8m.com/.
Just wondering if anyone here has had any dealings with this guy?
Also if you know of other places to get cheap games I'm all ears.

Is it just me or is that too good to be true.

Yeah that's why I'm asking.
If it's all good I'm going to get SOFII and MOHAA and.... and.... :D
I wonder how long it is after games are released that he can get them.

Ditto SP.
BTW - if you follow his advice and check up his Trademe feedback, you'll find that he's got a lot of good feedback - buuttt.......
....a lot of people mentioning the manual's aren't in English, they're in Thai ;). So guess how come the games are so cheap? My guess is games cost a lot less there ( cos otherwise they wouldn't sell ANY legal copies ), so he's buying Thai shippers and bringing them in here.
So don't expect the manual to be readable :D.

Mmm, I wouldn't exactly trust this either for a start he can't pay for his own domain and relies on a free server. Secondly buying a software & hardware for asian countries can be a bit tricky. Some pretty clever warez exists, and even thought the products may be authentic, they could have originated from the black market, as in someone shop lifts and people sell it from here.
In the end if all you want is that particular game, and don't mind security issues then this guy seems to be the ticket. I'd always buy my games from here though, simply because then if I have problems with the games such as missing CD-Key or whatever, I'll just ring up and ask 'hey, wheres the cd key' and they will say ... ok, go get another copy because the one you got was made badly.
Oh yeah, the name sounds a bit dodgy doesn't it? All illegal software end in 'z', WAREZ, SERIALZ, CRACKZ ...

well your best bet is to call the BSA on 0800-101-800 and ask them what they think... they'll set the story straight ;)

Dude, both me and [H]arls went to Tech with him, and will vouch for him, I've seen the CD's he sells, at that stage the manuals were in Taiwaneese, but the games were all in english.
To cut a long story short, I trust him, and have seen some of his software collection

i might drop the BSA a line anyway... if it's all legit he won't mind them checking it out.

my god that is cheap.... and the latest titles to......... does sound a little dodgy but if you ship enough volume at a good price I could see how it was possible
