I have a soltek DRV5 mobo,
id like to get a bit more ram volts
any1 no where i can find how to do them thx
I can't remember the exact jumper number for the DDR voltage.
However, think there are three modes to the setting:
2.5V
2.6V
2.7V
There are two jumpers for the DDR voltage which implies 4 possible combinations. Try the last undocumented setting which should give u 2.8V. That's what I did.

Tis JP3/JP4 close to the ram slots....
Chek your manuel for combination....

i new about the standard volt settings...
didnt no u could do that... thx :)
when i have it set to 2.7, i have 2.64... would this be my psu?
its a 300watt? came with my case
Na. I find the DRV5's DDR voltage to be rather low as well.

hey, i just had a thought....wat if u were to up all the voltages on all the rails of a psu...would the mobo run at a higher voltage? If you could do this, it could help some high fsb situations...just a thought :D dunno if it would work

yes, but it's not a particularly good idea. most PSUs aren't capable of supplying much more voltage than they do and even if you were, for example, to send 15V down the 12V rail and 7V down the 5V rail, you're bound damage something.
although it can be useful if you're a bit more subtle... Hans had some 5V issues last year and did some experiments with upping the 5V rail on his PSU via the adjustment pots... and it worked quite well :)

I doubt it will have any effect on the core voltage, or 3.3v which are the ones you want to mod.
