Ok what im wondering is does anyone have a nice little app in where I can log the amount of data im using (in/out) and keep a running totall ,

Ideally it would tell me per what ive used per connected session and also my usage over the month ...

All I have at the moment is a link from my network connction icon which I can open to see whats come in and out ... just need to get a running totall somehow.

This is basically because I got jetstream like 3 days ago and ive almost done a gig already, I know I can use the telecom usage monitor BUT id really like some small and useful handy to me othe desktop.

I knew mp3's would be the death of me. :D

I use DU Meter (http://www.hageltech.com/dumeter/).
Lovely little app :)

I don't think I'd pay US$20 for it, but it's fun to see what actually happens...though sometimes I question its credibility.

Yes it is, for me at least.
I've been using it for years and I consider it indispensible.
It has a permanent home in my systray :)

Agree on DU Meter - really excellent piece of software :)
But if u want a free alternative try Net activity diagram (http://www.metaproducts.com/mp/mpProducts_Detail.asp?id=20) The system tray option display is handy.

Not sure if it does all that you want but I think you will like Netstat Live (www.analogx.com/contents/download/network/nsl.htm)

If your with orcon...

Dont even need to login... just as long as ur using Orcon ADSL it works :D

Some one made a app for Xtra...

Also Samurize scripts are available for Paradise and a few others so u can just use Samurize... one of my mate uses samurize just for this... he hasnt discovered the full potential of it just yet

Once you log in you can check your national traffic even though thats free... session times and the IP to go with each session international and national up and down per session... ITS BRILLIANT! now why the **** cant Xtra and the others do this?

This looks like a good one. Haven't used it but downloaded it some time ago. Hopefully you're on Xtra or if you're not, tell me if it works anyway ;)
