You should probably read this page first:
http://forums.overclockers.co.nz/showthread.php?s=&threadid=795
Yes, it's a lot of reading - but if you want to get into overclocking, there's a LOT of stuff you'll want to know, so expect a lot more...

Um now Im the forum noob but if Im not mistaken thats a 256kb L2 cache Williamette core cpu *adjusts glasses*. Im pretty sure that celerons now are just old p4s so you actually have a celeron 1.9 :D
They dont overclock very well and if you are after value, rather than just OCing for the sake of it then it may not be worth it* coughs*, of course slander like that is liable to get me thrown out of a place like this where they will OC their grandmothers mobility scooter if it gets a few more points in benchies. ;)
I would suggest selling that cpu and buying a cheaper P4 1.6a or 1.8a and OCing it to 2.4ghz, this with the stock HSF too.

unless you want to be an OC whore (like us), just keep your cpu and heatsink and see how much extra you can crank up outa it with out spending much... cept buy a case fan or 2, can get em for $5 each from magpie mannor guy
