Hello every body, I have Gigabyte GA-7n400 Pro, AMD XP2600, Albatron Gforce4 ti 4200 128, 1024 mb ram. I have been told you cannot oc 2600 cpu. Is this true? has any body have same hardware as me and oc'ed succesfult and stabily as I'm not to kenn to try it and set the house on fire. I'm using dx9b with detonator 45.20. Can my cpu be over clocked? Any constuctive inut would be welcomed. Thank you.:)

well before anyone else says it i guess i might aswell, check out the sticky threads, they will help alot.

and yes, your cpu should clock rather well as its a tbred B,

Also, check your spelling .. you jerk :)

Heat has a lot to do with it. see how hot your pc runs standard, you can get software and hardware that will give you a rough temp guide, then OC the cpu and see how much it changes. SOme change alot, some hardly change at all. And OC small amounts at a time, untill you get lockups then drop it back one etc. You can go hardout and get bigger and better cooling solutions, fans, water cooling kits etc, so it depends how carried away you want to get.
