Is it posable to double the amount of usb ports on your mobo like an adapter (not to far from an adapter that u stick into the wall socket to have 2 plugs insted of one)
this would be great seeing as the mobo i have only has 2 usb slots on it
thanx in advance

Well MSI K7T266 Pro2-RU have 8 USB port..
What MB do you have? Some have a couple USB fitted but more ports available thru pins on board. You get socket plates that fit the PCI slot holes.

Hmm, I'm using a K7T266 Pro2 (Non-RU) and I have 6 ports. 4 came with the mobo itself, and I had to buy an extra bay thingy (that will use up a PCI slot opening) that adds another 2. U plug it into jumpers on the mobo.
Barry The Seagull, if your mobo is new, I am sure it has at least 4 ports...
You could also consider a USB hub.

u just need to buy a 2 port USB connector from the motherboard to a PCI bracket.
Watchout for the wiring of the USB ports though.. make sure the coloured wires are connected to the right pings on the motherboard by checking with the manual.
