need a DCHub for a lan?

I just was at a lan and the windows filesharing was a bugger. So now to do something about it. :D

Ok heres a couple of links to get you on the way for setting up a hub for your own small lans or home networks.

If you just want a good(addfree) client go here :

For the DC client and hub/server software go here :

you will also need 2 .ocx files which can be found here :
http://www.it-mate.co.uk/main_content/default.asp

The .ocx files you'll need are :
dcsystray.ocx & comct332.ocx

Once you have that lot installed you'll need to know your ip address. To find this just start a run box and type ipconfig
The run box can be found at
start>all programs>accessories>command prompt
or
start>run>cmd

i suggest looking at using ptokaX.

Doesn't need anything NMDC and it is very simple to configure.

you may or may not want to add this: in windows XP/Windows 2000 you will need to go start>run>cmd to get a DOS box up to typ in ipconfig

that some thing i had to go looking for some time a go when i installed winXP :p

or you could just select command prompt under accessories :D
