Hey, I don't know if this is a plonker question or not, so I'm chucking it in the noob section :)
In games, how do I increase my monitor refresh? In UT2k3 I get 75Hz when I'm capable of 100Hz (at that res), and all other games I only seem to get 60 (regardless of res, even 640x480).
So, is there some easy way to do this? or do I need to download some sort of proggie to keep it at it's maximum?
Cheers guys....

I used some registry mod file to crank the refresh in all games up to 100, can't remember where I got it from though :(.
what VGA and OS?
I, in win2k with GF4MX440, using det 41.xx just choose the refresh rate in the driver options, and the games stick to that refresh rate.

Yea, I'm win2k, but it's an ATI so I don't have that option in the drivers.
I'll have a look around and see if I can find the reg edit.

The program that I use is RefreshLock. It automatically chooses the highest refresh your monitor can handle at each resolution :)

yeah refreshlock is good......... run it once set the correct resolutions/refresh rates and you never have to worry about it again or have and programs running at all eating up memory etc........

in UT2003, you may need to edit the ut2003.ini or user.ini file and look for a line called desiredrefreshrate="x" where x is the rate that you want.
I found that i was required to do this regardless of whether i was using Reforce or not.
hope that helps :)
