....and when I press P...pr0n comes up :p

Can't remember which it is...(using mozilla now) but I think if you go into your internet options and clear history, and then....hang on.....*opens IE* under the internet options>CONTENT tab there's the autocomplete section, clear that....I think that's the one that actually does it. Damn my memory's getting bad ;)

i'm sure cnet and yahoo are what you're worried about as well ;)

clear your history under internet options first, then right click the taskbar and go to properties, and the advanced tab.

there should be a button for clearing a whole lot of stuff. (this is in 2k/xp)

yeah, go to tools, internet options,
temp internet files > clear them
history > clear that
then go to content>autocomplete>clear all that

then (I'm in win2k) go into documents and settings>user>local settings>temp internet files> select all, and delete them,
then go ctrl+f, and search for all files,
and what do you know, there are thousands of files you thought you deleted, :D
delete all of the ones you can,

but wait, you still got index.dat, and that has all the sites you visited in there, I think you need to use an app to clear that one,
I tried deleting it in dos, but I couldn't see it, and you can't delete it in windows.

:D

and there is still more stuff you need to delete before you are all clear

That index.dat heads up was kinda helpful as i haven't done a reinstall in a while altho i regularly clear my internet cache.
So i found a viewer - get this 800mb worth of URLs & Junk sitting in my index.dat files.

Used a program called Tracks Eraser Pro Trial.
Worked sweet :)
Now i've got more than a 1Gb free on my second Partition again.
