Er, turn the detail up, sir. Its pretty gibby for me :)
I downloaded some hilarious avi off planetsof.com that showed all 32 or whatever places you can shoot and shoot off...
You have to remember it is using a fairly dated engine, but at least now its OpenGL and fast, even my old MX was happy with full detail.
Single player is quite confusing, and not as challenging as the first, although I still find it a lot of fun.
You sound like a Serious Sam player :)

imho SOF2 is much better than the original. i found the first one boring, there was no variation in the missions... plus i was hooked on half life ( yea i know... just a little late!! :p) which pw3d it.
SOF2 otoh is a dam good game tho. shame i haven't got around to completeing it yet.

whats a gib?
The first game used them on the end of level score chart, but I couldn't find the term listed in the manual anywhere.

Gib board. Its basically wallboard. You know, it's plaster covered by thick paper. There are ads on the telly about it - some woman talking about Gib quiet zones. :p

Seriously tho, I think 'gib' refers to how many body parts you, ahem, blow off. ;)

The term "gib" really came into its own around the time when Quake1 came out.
Blowing up your opponent into nice little polygonal chunks is immensely satisfying.
Say, launching grenades with the quad from up top in claustrophobolopolis :D
Ahhh, memories.
The little bloodied chunks are gibs.
Bits of leg, arm etc.
Virtual of course ;)
