Hi all,
Apart from the obvious, if a MB will run a thoroughbred b XP2100 to 2200, any reason why it wouldn't run the XP2400? Any major mods to this chip, which could through the MB into utter confusion without a new bios??
Your thoughts . . .
nah, the 2400 will be fine, it's a tbred, the 2500 which is a barton might be another story,
but, when they made the mobo, they didn't know that the XP2400 was gonna come out or not, so they couldn't say, but if you get one, you will be fine.

Make sure the motherboard supports high enough multipliers. An AthlonXP2400+ = 2ghz, which is around 15x133mhz (cpu multiplier x fsb speed). What motherboard is this?
