Hi I have a odd question to ask :p

Can I run UT2K3 (as a server) on a windows server 2003 box ?

I know the box will run it, I just don’t know if the OS will

Why am I asking?
Well I have been offered a server box for a LAN and it’s running windows 2003 server
i got offered it from work (it’s there back up server) well no one will be working so they will not need it :D

it's better to ask, i will only get the box the night befor the lan and i need a server
*night be for i find out that it will not run on it (i dont even want to think about that)*

cool thanks

i think i will be playing with it at work ;)

has some one had it running on a Windows server 2000 box ?
(thinking that MS will keep the stuff all most the same)

the difference will be I understand that 2003 doesnt have everything enabled at install (unlike earlier server versions) in an attempt to make it a little more secure.... so you might need to play around with enabling some of the services which have been disabled to get it to work sweet.

Yep works fine on Win 2003 Server and 2000 Server.
I've got a box here running UT2K3 dedicated server on Win2003.
