More benchmarks (http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.html?i=1647).
Pretty much every video card u can think of - including Parhelia.
Interesting the diff bet the 128&64 flavours of the 4200.

Yes, very very intesting.
The 64MB card blows the 128MB card out of the water in EVERY test.
....looks like the 128MB Ti4200 might not be a very wise purchase decision AT ALL. Better to save money with a 64MB Ti4200, or stretch to a Ti4400.

Hahahaa - that bet is especially safe during holidays. I'm weird - I prefer to sleep days and work nights.

I reckon that's normal, KJ. :D
Anyway, I think it will be 1024x768 High detail for my GF3 Ti200.

Nie to know that a GF4 Ti 4600 purchase wasn't completely wasteful :D

Well it's nice to see that my GF2 Ti will keep me goin for a little while longer. Damn good benches on the GF4's *drool* :D

Nice to see the MX460 holding it up quiet nicely against the Ti200 :P

Yeah but who has a GF4 MX460 ?
Most people got GF4 MX440's because they were cheap and good value for money..
There wasn't much difference in price between a GF4 MX 460 and a GF3 TI 200... Look at 1024x768 - DM-Asbestos High Detail there's a good 20fps difference between the two (so how do you define keeping up?).
Interesting to see how clock speed on the memory made more difference then having 128mb.. I wish they'd overclocked the mem on the 128mb gf4 ti 4200 to the same clock speed as the 64mb version.. then we could say "yes 128mb makes no difference in Unreal T II" or "128mb does make a difference of xx fps"...
They also didn't have a gf3 ti 200 128mb in there to compare against the gf3 ti 200 64mb version.. that would of been another good gauge of the value of an extra 64mb ram. Especially since the 64mb and 128mb gf3 ti 200's are clocked the same by default.

but then the 64meg 4200 prolly can overclock quite nicely too... specially having better quality/ns ram.
My 4400 can easilly o/c to a 4600 spec - have u seen what a 4600 can O/c 2??

Yeah I'm waiting too see a brave manufacturer put low ns ram on a 128mb gf4 Ti 4200.. of course it will cost.
Also bear in mind ns isn't everything, eg: 3.8ns hynix ram often doesn't overclock as well as 4ns micron or samsung.

I'm pretty sure it's Hynix.

You just have to trawl the net looking at reviews of the different brands, good ones will tell you what chips the ram are (hans usually does ;) )
So when are you reviewing a leadtek Hans?
Leadtek's seem to be overclocking well .. so maybe I'm wrong about those hynix chips. Still something to think about though.

THG did u GF4 review and overclocked a few of them cards - the leadtek did very well :D (well they all o/c to bout the same % - leadtek was slightly in front)
That prolly the heaksink design i'm guessing...

Wonder what the Leadtek would do with a PixelIce on it. ;) :D
I've done the bench for the Leadtek.. Going to do the write up in a couple of days and you guys can expect it maybe in 2 weeks time??

Han's, can you confirm what the ram is on the leadtek ti4200 ... 3.8ns hynix..?
Like I said in this thread (http://forums.overclockers.co.nz/showthread.php?s=&threadid=128&perpage=20&pagenumber=2), it's 4ns.
