I'm back

Ok, the reason for starting this thread, well ppl asking me where have I been, :D

anyway. 2 weeks ago took my mobo back to the shop to have it replaced cause it wasn't saving the BIOS. They said it will take 3 days, but after 3 days I was told that they had to send it back to the factory for it to be checked cause they can't or something like that.
Also I didn't have any other internet capable compters, so I wasn't able to go online.
Last week I also had 5 Uni exams, one each day, so in some way it was a good thing, cause i was able to study.
So, last friday, I got my motherboard back, but even better than that, they gave me a A7V266EX which is better than the old A7V266E. So I can't complain.

Also managed to sell of my gay 107S for 245$, and got a free 107B couple of days later by luck, which I'm using right now, :)

So did I miss anything?? :D :D

Did you mobo get sent back to Asus in Taiwan? I thought insight/renaisance fixed or replaced them in Chch. Well thats what they did with my faulty one a while back.

well, they said that the wholesaler couldn't figure it out and sent it to the factory, and that's like why it took 2 weeks, I'm not too sure, but yeah,

it's kindda strange now, I don't have the urge anymore to check my email and OCNZ forums every 15 minutes anymore, oh no :eek: :eek:

heh, i've been gone for a week too...

was using good old direct connect to download from other New Zealand people on a New Zealand only hub since local traffic is free.

not only was i being charged for some New Zealand traffic, but some naughty person from sweden (it was some place in europe anyway) decided to download off me...:mad:

the IT department still haven't refunded the charges for the NZ downloads:rolleyes: so i've borrowed someone elses account :D

being on the canterbury lan is nice and fast but it's not all rosy. :mad: :rolleyes:
