I was just wondering whats the best setup in there to get the best ping OR the best speed.

these settings;

LCP Extensions
Enable Software Compression
Negotiate Multilink for Single link Connections

Use default gateway on default Network
Use IP header compression

Enable LMHosts Lookup
Enable/Disable Netbios over TCP/IP

What should be ticked for best performance? I know the obvious ones, but am a bit confused.

Enable Software Compression diable, will lower bandwidth but decrease latency
Negotiate Multilink for Single link Connections - off

Use default gateway on default Network -yep
Use IP header compression -nope

Enable LMHosts Lookup -disable
Enable/Disable Netbios over TCP/IP -diable


that'd probably be the fatest settings, wither i'll make a **** of a difference I dunno, there are some tweaking progs that let you adjust the windows sizes and such forth for more tweaking
