This could be a serious boost to the Hammer, and would have come sooner or later, just maybe now sooner.

it would be cool and a pretty logical move but i've learnt never to trust anything xbit-labs say as anywhere near true :)

anyone have any idea on the bus it runs on?
cos if its still 133, and u dont overclock, then it would still use ddr266?
(in other thread, if u dont oc, then faster ram isnt needed)

currently it supports only DDR333
Well... there we go. I know faster ram against a slower pc doesn't help much since the memory data isn't being used so it doesn't help in performance.
But having dual channels for memory could be helpful in this case, like they do for video cards [isn't it?].
But these are rumors in the end, and well, you either believe it or not...
