Don't laugh at me.

I have a Philips 105S monitor joined up with standard (mobo standard) SiS620 intergrated graphics

My monitor has a maximum resolution of 1280X960 @ 60HZ
The lam3r SiS chip has a max resolution of anything from 640X480 up to 1600X1200 but the mofo doesnt support 1280X960!!

What i want to do is somehow edit the .inf files or whatever file is needed so i can run my monitor/gfx at 1280X960 @ 60HZ!

I have tried various apps including Powerstrip but to no avail so far .. and i have also tried editing the SiSSIS620V, the Sis620v and the inf files (shown in the pic below) but nothing is working, ive also downloaded the 9M driver update but still no go

What i want to know is; Is anyone on here able to help me or edit the INF file, point me to a website or tell me if im editing the right file or not (if not which) ... Many thanks folks :D

if powerstrip can't do it then i'm afraid an INF hack won't do it either...

but you don't really wanna run 1280x960 on a 15" screen :)

i've seen 1280x960 on a 15inch screen.. its crazily small.. eg you have to squint to see the start button...

1024x768 is prolly as high as i'll go on a 15inch screen..

and 60Hz? what are you? crazy? I could NEVER handle 60Hz.. not in a million years
