My monitor...

Ive got me a purty standard Philips 107S 17" Monitor. I love it but lately it has been developing sickness. By sickness I am referring to the pixels that no longer illuminate - theyre just black! :( Anyway the death count has now reached 2 pixels :eek: I know it aint many but Its concerning. Can anyone explain to me why this is happening, or any way to fix it? Cheers

This is a CRT? weird.....
( broken single pixels is normally an LCD problem )

Try cleaning it :D.

My friend has this on his old monitor ... for some reason it looks like as if the monitor screen was like a piece of paper with a rip in it.

Just an idea, im not too familiar with monitors...

it could be your vid card. try another one if you can or just reseat your current one and see if that fixes the problem.

Yeah definately try the monitor on a difference system.. or try a different video card to figure out whether it is the monitor for sure..
