Mys sisters b/f (finished BE last year) now works for a company called easteel, they manage/build high presure boilers and such that basically make steam, his job is pretty much controling/designing the sensors and software that controls them, and sometimes fixing/matenance of the boilers.

last tuesday he went to a company with a broken boiler,

When he got there the monitering room had 8x 21" flatscreen moniters that had been on the same picture for over 6months

result? all the moniters had the image burned into their screens, and were all fuxored!!

8x 21" moniters thrown out and replaced, the company must have been gutted!!!

Why the hell would they NEED such equipment??? And lets hope they are not retarded enough to sort something out to prevent this in future.

I would guess the bin, if the have burn in, the aren't really good for anything but....(hmmm I thinking explosives, lots of explosives)

With modern monitor phosphors you literally have to leave them on for YEARS before screenburn occurs. They must have been extremely crap monitors to begin with.

Yes. Only when I see the same spelling mistake over and over again in ONE DAY, sometimes even by the same person over and over again...its frustration more than extreme-naziism.
