Anyone tried there drivers and seen an improvement?

for me, i lost about 200 points in the process, i recommend the 29.20's as they're the fastest for Win 98SE still

I'm still on the 21.xx drivers, any higher makes my GF2MX perform worse,

what's your video card???

Searching through his posts you will find he's running a Ti4600 - which, BTW, would explain why the later det's work better for him.

But yeah, for GF2's, the dets BEFORE the 23 series are the best. I think there was a 19.XX det that screamed for MX's from memory.... 19.10?

For TNT2's and the like, even older det's will often give the most speed. For example, the 10.80's.

HOWEVER, the newer the det, the more stability and compatibility. So if you're trying to run a TNT2 on a newer mobo and CPU etc - you may need the latest dets for the compatibility they offer ;).

12.90s were the best for me just as good as any of the 20.XX-->>
