For someone who's been banned three times your realy pressing your luck.
So could you tell me what the codecs are in the videos that skip.
(if you have no idea how to, go to www.doom9.org and get gspot 2.1)

Here are the codecs the movie is using.
Also someones probably going to ask about my CPU

Its a Socket 370, Celeron 400mhz.
But runs all other divx's fine, even newer codecs etc, its just cs movies..

then compare the frame size and rate....
are all your cs movies 30fps?

i know that slow celerys like that can run video fine....watched The Matrix (my divx 4 rip) on a 233 before....

Framerate: 30fps
Performance: Skips

2.
Codec: DivX 5.0
Size: 221mb
Framerate: 30fps
Performance: Music ahead of image, freezes, skips, freezes

3.
Codec: DivX 5.0
Size: 159mb
Framerate: 30fps
Performance: Music plays. Image skips and pauses.

4.
Codec: DivX 4 (open divx)
Size: 44.6mb
Framerate: 30fps
Performance: Starts out fine, when it gets into to frags, skips and freezes

5. - the one i can watch

You'll need to rurn quality settings right down to get the divx4+ avis to run properly, divx3.11 requires a less beefy system to run, thats why you can play it fine

NOTE: I am running these off cd...my hdd is ****.

could be wrong but this is why I think..........

the audio has been interleaved wrong and why..... some of it is dispersed throughout the movie the bulk of it has been placed at the end of the file therefore your optical drive will be doing a lot of seeking and cant keep up with both the audio + video streams...... seen it happen before.....
try running it off the HD and see if it makes any difference and report back......

unfortunately a lot of divx guides do this to the audio ie interleave every 500ms when it really needs to be at 100ms for all the audio to be dispersed evenly throughout the file......

anyway try it off the hdrive and see.......

ok, for starters, look at the fps of the first 4
30 fps....
this is TOO HIGH
especialy for your system.
so the reason they are running badly is because some dumbarse didnt compress them correctly.
