Wondering if this ok or if I have to order Arctic Silver, wont be doing any serious OCing, only 133 fsb on a celeron and intel HSF
This is cheaper too not that it matters much, few dollars bleh
Does anyone use the Dicks Smith stuff for serious OCing?
Just checking it was ok
Think this had been brought up in the old forum.
DSE's thermal grease sux. Period.
They dry up too quickly, ~2 months time. Once they dried up, they are no good for heat transfer. Even the Senfu thermal grease is better than the DSE's one.

What Hans said.
It's trash, period.
Dick smith stuff will end up like dried toothpaste in a very short time.
Do yourself a favour and get a tube of AS3.
My old tube of AS2 has been going strong for well over 8 months :D
Good investment ;)

the dse stuff ain't very good, it's better then nothing. If you have a little packet of the white paste that comes with most heatsinks use that instead... otherwise the smallest tube of artic silver doesn't cost much.. like $20

It didn't work very well with the Titan hsf but that was to be expected, however I may try it on my V7+ if I can ever be bothered hehe :D

Ive used dick-less smith's, AS 2 and AS3 and there is a 1-2 difference between them. I am using the dick head smith paste ATM and havnt had any probs with it. Then again I take of my Waterblock every couple of weeks ;)

Your using it the same as you apply AS right... nice thin layer not a huge monster dog turd plob? less is best for any thermal paste.

oh yeah of course, I may not have known jack all about cooling at the time I purchased the 'Titan' but I certainly knew how to apply the stuff.
