Anyone else think these a great little gadgets ?
I was sitting here thinking about how I was going to do the lighting in my case and suddenly realised that using my Digidoc I could have up to 8 12V CC's running off them, which I can all indvidiually control using the DigiDoc5. Just by setting the Fan Enable/Disable options I can pick any combination of my lights :)
I was going to go with mainly LED lighting in my case, so If I was to use the Digidoc which has 12V outputs I'd need some serious resistance to drop the voltage down. I picking for a standard 3.6V LED I'd need around 420-470 Ohms there (less if I string some LED's in serial I guess). Anyone know how much heat I could expect to get out of that much resistance ?
Is it even worth bothering trying to hook up some LED's to a 12V output ?
