I don't think it actually matters if they don't have any conflicts ...

is it affecting performance or stability in any way? Shared irq's work fine under 2k provided there arent any serious hardware conflicts (socket7 ali mobo with nvidia card anyone?)

so i'd guess the answer is no. Dont worry about it.

Oh, ok... I heard somewhere it can affect performance but if you dont think so then I'll leave them alone.

T3ch_d0g: If it ain't broke don't fix it. Automatic IRQ sharing is a wonderful thing. Most of the time.

I tried assigning IRQ in bios once... still got the same IRQ under win2k.

The 'PnP OS Installed' option in BIOS was probably set to 'Yes'.

If you select 'No' IRQ's will be assigned by the BIOS, if you select 'Yes' IRQ's will be assigned by the operating system.
