Right, at last I got my arse around to it and got the case (minus the window) done!

Its Watercooled, with peltier - this will have pics soon.. as it's sitting on the kitchen table running out the air bubbles now.

Step by step stuff can be found Here (http://redevil.o-bot.com/).

Btw, the case is TOO farken heavy, full a grade steel all over.. but I'll take it to lans regardless. Its clocking in at 40kg atm.

As for some starter pics:

Very nice B|izz, very similar to my lian :)

Here's a few pics of me shuttle, P4 2.53, using onboard everything except vid. Yes the beige cdrom sucks. No room for a floppy here "yippie" have 2 x 80gig seagates inside.
http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/zenadroi/shuttle/shuttle.jpg

Top view showing the alu heatsink which has a copper base. The 4 pipes go to the sunon 80mm fan which expells hot air and removes heat from the heatsink. One fan instead of two cuts down on noise. Very well done shuttle.
http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/zenadroi/shuttle/top_open.jpg

Side view with GF4 installed. Having a side window with the vid card right up against it would look cool. Mini cold cathode maybe. Suprisingly in a box this small everything was easy to install, good layout.
http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/zenadroi/shuttle/gf4.jpg

Front view with and without perspex cover on. There is a sheet of white cardboard behind the perspex, cheap. My main gripe with this case is the plastic front. I wish they left it metal like the old models.
http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/zenadroi/shuttle/front3.jpg

Birds eye view showing small window I added to view the heatsink. A bigger window with cdrom mod would look cool. Finished in wrx blue if you hadn't guessed.
http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/zenadroi/shuttle/top_closed.jpg

Arse end. No shortage of usb2 and firewire ports front and rear.
http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/zenadroi/shuttle/shuttle_back.jpg

This case has a few pros and cons. I wouldn't get one if it was my only PC, well not if your the type who is in and out of your case all the time. I've still got me PC61 but this is very portable. A nice drop in size without a drop in power. Very quiet to.

i took some webcam pics of my comp. they're terrible quality but can be found here none the less:

in the coming couple of months i'll be doing some watercooling, and i'll be getting a digicam soon too so i'll be updating it with decent pics :)

I'm gonna leave it air cooled as it it running very cool atm

You might remember I posted my case a couple of pages ago and the cables were a mess, well I have done a bit of a tidy.

http://funlinks.orcon.net.nz/tidy.jpg

Well this particular case coupled with the too many cables powersupply and the mobo power being in an awkward place was a pain in the @ss to tidy and after several attempts (and a fried floppy, oops) this is the end result.

I am still trying to think of ideas to make this case look a little more impressive, I initially was gonna do the UV cathode trick and trace many of the connections and solder points with thin highlighter pens. Those black cables were to be spray painted fluro yellow, I did this but the paint kinda just flaked off. And then there is that enjoying little green LED light the mobo has on it (bottom center).
I don't want my case to look too wanky to lots an lots of colours and lights. What sort of effect does that UV tint give off that you guys have been talking about? Any pics?

Just updated today...

http://www.ezpz.orcon.net.nz/case%20new/DSC00012.JPG

http://www.ezpz.orcon.net.nz/case%20new/DSC00015.JPG

Havent done many obvious changes... except for the underbody lighting :D

Mounted switches under case in the front end (havent been a fan of cathode switches on front bezels as some of your have noticed)

I hate having them in the back because if having to reach into the desk behind the case, then fumbling over which switch is which... PCI slot switches are annoying... and under case switch position was the best one i've thought of for now :p dont have to reach as far, obvious which one is which, and wont be a bit shocker of a looker if you rid of a cathode.

Added a Blue OCNZ cathode to the inside as well just to add to lighting and tidied cables alot better + added a cheap DIY A4 piece of paper to hide the ugly hidden wiring up to (soon to be vinyled up with dash vinyl and a color applique up top)
.
Hmmm I just noticed my FDD IDE is plugged in the wrong way... should change it back in a tick.

Thats about it for now until mid Jan, as I'll buy more modding stuff when I'm in Taiwan (if there's any I can find worth buying.) All this stuff I've had since last term holidays... Just never got round to doing it.

Still to finish off my case LEDs (LAN/HDD/PWR).... thats all I can think of for now.

Finally got a camera for this.

What I've done is turn the Harddrives around so the cable slots are facing to the front and I made all the cabling go around the Drive Bays to the motherboard. I've also done the same to all the power cables. Hopefully this will increase the airflow.

There are 2x 120mm Fans blowing into the case from the front (A Silent one and an Aluminum one). And 2 budget 80mm fans blowing the air out the back.

The side window has 2 fans on it, both UV Blue with UV Blue Biohazard Grills. It i not finished yet.

Everything Else it has:
Yellow UV Slot Protectors (Glow Blue)
UV Blue IDE Cables
Two UV Cold Cathode Lights
Metallic Blue Painted Chassie
UV Yellow Cable Sleeving with Heat Shrink

http://www.onsite.net.nz/case/HDD Stabilizers.jpg
I had to put in some polystyrene stabalisers for the Hard Drives, since the cables were stopping them from going all the way in, and only 2 screws could hold them. Which meant they would fall down and block the air.

http://www.onsite.net.nz/case/Full Front View.jpg
Here you can see the 2 fans blowing in. I still need to make a grill for the top fan.

My Thermaltake Tsunami Dream just arrived this morning. Spent a fair bit of time tidying up the cables and installing the cathodes (not easy in this case if you want to hide them). The fans were quite loud to begin with but I rewired them and connected them to a fan controller and it made a big difference. The airflow is great.

I may as well post mine, I need tips on how to tidy it up.
The pic is a bit old, something went funny in my digital camera plug and now the usb cable won't fit in.
The only real difference now is that my graphics card has a different fan and the case is a bit messier. (if that's possible.)

-Sleeving and UV cathodes
-Pretty much complete new system
-Changed front blue lights for green as well as power LED

Well, 4 hours after starting I'm now the proud owner of a Thermaltake Shark with a window! ...The only person I know of that has done this mod! (after 30min googling it) I must say it looks way more impressive!

The reason it took so long was because of the plastic 'fin' on the side, it clips on with little plastic clips, so to get my window on I had to cut 8 squares out of the middle of the perspex. It was all done with a drill and a hacksaw.

Cpu temperature is now 3 degrees lower, I assume this is due to the better airflow. And I can now ALMOST sleep with the computer going... So much more quieter.

And finally the pics!
