Soltek 845G mainboard SL-85MIR / 85MIR-L is able to be overclocked from 133Mhz to 200Mhz!

Soltek Computer Inc. today releases a new BIOS (AG1.3 version) for its 845G mainboard SL-85MIR / 85MIR-L.

This BIOS can fix AGP clock at 66Mhz & PCI clock at 33Mhz when overclocking; by this way, you can get a more stable system. Our R&D team have sucessfully overclock this mainboard to 200Mhz (200 x 4 = 800Mhz FSB)!

This is certainly a great news for overclockers; however, please note that now most CPUs have been locked, it is very difficult to find an unlocked CPU. Our CPU is an engineering sample of Intel Pentium 4 1.7G, please see the picture below:

holy ****. it seems a number of the new 533 boards are getting their FSB up very high. i wonder if there's any RD-RAM out there that'd handle running @ 800MHz :)
