me = old school aswell, ah, those were the days.
You young ppl have it soft these days, when i trolled the forusm we had to walk 5 k's in the snow with no shoe's on to turn the power on and there was none of this 56k crap we had good old morse code for our data transmission!:D :D

that was my POS MSI K7T Pro2A... it blew up two more times after that before i decided to ditch it and switch to something else.

on a slightly related and vaguely interesting note: i was the first ever person that bought a 1.2GHz tbird from DragonPC :)

Wow, I even remember some of those threads:eek:

If I remember rightly I was member number 86 or something like that... So just how long has this site been running for? Was it just a couple of members for a long time till the word got out or did it all happen prety quickly?

Anyways, I found OCNZ while searching for pc hardware sites. What a find! I hate to imagine where I'd be right now if i'd never found it.... Maybe I'd like have a life by now or something :D

the web archive of ocnz seems to have shrunk a bit. i remember there being more than that... *shrug*

i think i got to about 30 posts on that first forum before the switch to the last one where i accumulated about 1100 posts. that forum was a huge improvement over the old one and now this one is even better again! :)

it's such a shame that the last one went down before all the data could be saved, there were some really useful threads.
