yea, prices have been really good! for anyone thats upgrading its good news also cause the price of ddr over sd makes it stupid to not go with ddr.
can't remember what the cheapest price was last year but i believe it may have been around the $80 mark for 256mb ddr?

Here are two articleson the memory industry and pricing of RAM, hmmm there is some real dodgy stuff going on there...
http://www.stuff.co.nz/inl/index/0,1008,1242182a1897,FF.html
and

We could either be in for a shake up of the industry, or nothing will come out of it, kinda like th MS antitrust thing...

If I remeber correctly, at the lowest point 256meg pc133 was ~US$13 (minimum 100 pieces)
Then over about 3-4 days it rose to like US$40  :(

At its lowest point last year i picked up 512 for 90+gst :)
Thought it was a nice deal myself

As far as I'm concerned let prices fall to the floor. At the moment a generic 512MB PC2700 DDR is cheapest at $253, and I would like that to sink to like $100.
