Ram?

Ok i'm looking for a 512DDR stick... I'm going to run this @ ~166 and not much more as i'm a bit paranoid bout PCI clock. A stick of 512DDR333 cost anything bet 200 to close to 550 (3700 beasties).
My question is should i bother getting a known brand stick muskin/corsair or would a generic DDR333/400 do just as well?

I personally would buy brand RAM. I just bought two sticks of 512MB Muskin DDR333 (Cas 2) for $250 each. I think that is reasonable; and wouldn't skimp much lower.

well id just get one with a lifetime warrenty.


If i had the money id get a branded one, they tend to run at more aggresive speeds.

It's Muskin Blue Line (Black is their performance line, and green is budget).

I'll just reiterate.

$240 for 512MB of Cas 2 DDR333 (one stick, not a pair)

So I paid about $480 for a gig of quality ram :).
