hmmm nice. I know this guy that is working on water cooling to fit in your cd rom drive bay. He has already made the block as it is at my house. Im in the process of just seeing how well it fits onto my Duron. He has a real good idea, he has made up plans and everything. Hes goign to have it finished soon, and he has a digicam so watch this space and youll see some pics:D

yeah there's a few "off-the-shelf" watercooling solutions available now... overclockers.com have been keeping up with them. it's pretty cool i reckon, watercooling is so popular now. unfortunately it might become a bit passe if too many people jump on the bandwagon :p

[boy racer]I was thinking of some aluminium tru-plate and a kobe with a two inch tip for my tower. Already have two buckets with full harness, and momo wrist rest, and my monitor has tints... [/boy racer]

what would be really good is a lian-li case w/ h20 cooling preinstalled... but that'll cost a bunch of $

well lian-li cases aren't actually that expensive, they're just expensive in NZ coz there's such a small demand and import costs are mega. if lian-li decided to created a watercooled case, chances are it wouldn't cost that much more than a regular one. but once again, import costs would push the price up to what us kiwis have come to expect from lian-li.

I'm sure they will sometime if they see demand is high enough (just as the have done with windows). Chances are if they do do it, they make an arrangement with one (or more) of the major h2o manufactures, ie. DangerDen or Hardware Labs, SilverProp etc, and just have it rebadged to Lian-Li. I think it would end up being quite good value (comparatively) as Lian-Li would be getting a real good deal from the manufacturers based on the amount of stock they ordered.

I personally want to build my own, but can understand those that just want the finished product without the hassle of building it.

i quite like that radiator- im not really that much of watercooling, i havent really researched it. i am currently building up a bong cooled system, its that bit more unique..

It looks like a Black Ice Pro (http://www.hwlabs.com/products/blackicepro.htm), similar to the black ice extreme i plan to buy....
Planning and reality dont always go hand in hand, but we shall see ;)
DAMN nice rads :D

yes... available from stylespc even... and you only need to sell one kidney to buy it :)

or you could just buy a $20 heatercore and paint it :D

and what exactly is a human kidney worth these days?
the rad is nice, and it says its a real awesome one, is it true?

gotta get me one someday.

or just a heater core :D

btw: mird, have you managed those 3d models of that bong water window thing you were talking about?

Depends on what kinda radiator you mean.
For example The Black Ice series are basically heatercores, all done up.
Do some research on www.overclockers.com and www.procooling.com if you are serious ;)
HUGE wealth of information there :)
