Anyone tried the above graphics card. I'd be interested in seeing a comparison between that and the Ti4600.
Am also interested in performance running two monitors.

Dunno if ya will find a comparison of that and a gf4 as they are made for completely different markets, here is a comparison with the Ati FireGl card if ya want it

i know that Beav (http://www.procooling.com/worklog/7/index.shtml#newsitem1023428865,72194,) from ProCooling.com (http://www.procooling.com) had a Ti4600 and a 900XGL in their posession to do a comparo but i don't think anything has come from that yet...

there are a few comparison benchmarks in an Xbit-labs article (http://www.xbitlabs.com/video/firegl8800-quadro4/index3.html)... more Quadro4 articles here:

ah yes.... Quadro XGL's....
It's about time nVIDIA made their Quadro's beasty again. The Quadro 2's were higher clocked GeForce2 cards, but then with the Quadro DCC the card was actually clocked THE SAME as the GeForce3.
Now we see this lineup:
Quadro4 700XGL -> GeForce4 Ti4200
Quadro4 750XGL -> GeForce4 Ti4400
Quadro4 900XGL -> GeForce4 Ti4600
...well, pretty much. They get more output options, more high-quality components and more specially optimised drivers - but they're basically the same cards with the same chips, the same memory, and the same clock speeds.
The only really innovative area is their Quadro NVS lineup, which allow for use of up to 4 displays off one card :eek:.
I dunno, I'd just be dissapointed in getting a card at that price that was clocked the same as the bog-standard consumer cards.
*shrugs*
Then again, might just be me.... come to thing of it, drivers matter more than the hardware... but still....
*/me winges, realises everyone else has shuffled off, gives up*

Cheers folks,
Thought the quadro thingy didn't look to hot.
The normal TI4600 can come with dual dvi support as one of the options - so would probably be the cheaper alternative for the same thing.. Will look into it a bit more.

i don't think there is a soft hack for qudro on the GF4 line like the GF2 line, i think you can do it but it has to be done via a hardware or bios hack (more a hardware hack i think)

umm other way around... my quadro2 was originally a gf2 gts... very easy mod. works very well.
AFAIK pretty much the same mod can be applied to the GF4Ti series to make them Quadro4s.
