Divx Codex

Ok, so i had like ? 4.03 or 4 . something, and then i upgraded to 5.03 because i wanted to watch this cs vid..

when i had my old codex, i was using video mach and i encoded it like, really well, and now with the Newer! Better! version the encoding is like :S ****.... can someone help me ? i tried to get the 5.03 without ad ware, and it was slightly better but still ****TER than the other one... help me !

secondly - divx is a codec right? for audio/video right? audio and video is multimedia right? are you following?

Dude, if you get the version without ads, then you don't get the encoder - so you're probably still using the DiVX4 codec.

Could you explain in a little more detail what filters, options etc you're using?

i tried it WITH the version that had adds, it was crap quality when i encoded it

so i uninstalled it, and then tried the other one, (5.03) without addware and it was slightly better, but still crap..

I was trying to find a link to the old 4.01 because thats waht i was using before (At least i think its 4.01)

okay, well it seems you just don't know what you're doing. go to doom9.org and read the divx guides, you'll be much better off for it.

Doom...its not the codec, its how you set it up.

Calm down, take a breath and compose a post in the english language, and proof read it, sober preferably, to make sure it makes sense.
