Yeah another one of em :(
Ok did the usual - glues the lasercuts, joined the L1s with the DSE silver stuff, everything looked sweet.
Only prob is i cannot access some of the dividers. I want to run @ 166FSB with 1/5 dividers (so 33Mhz pci) - so the dividers that interest me would be 10+ (anything less is an under clock).
Xcept my system locks @ 11,11.5 (thats underclocking @ 133FSB)

Is this a botched up unlock? if i shorted anything wouldn't i simply not be able to change dividers... not change only a couple?

Please, just $1 for every person asking this question.

If you only get some dividers, at least one of your joins is shorting, or is not making good electrical contact. You will have to wipe it all off and start it again. Sometimes it takes a couple of attempts.

Hey Acura

i have found it helps to let the super glue set nice and hard and pile it up
then slice it down with a scapel almost falt with the surface of the CPU also if you have a magnifying glas you can see which ones may be dodgy

just my 2c

i have thought about using conductive grease to fill the holes like others have but just not convinced on that methode yet
