I've got a Volcano 7 (not plus)
And i took the screws out to turn the faceplate around problem is the damn screws won't go in properily.
Example you can put them in and turn and turn and turn and they still pop out.
Its currenty on the CPU with the fan about to fall off cause i don't have a backup heatsink.

Anyone else had this problem ?

What should i do ?

Do i need new screws?

Sounds simple enough. Do the screws still have any thread left on them? And what's the thread like where their holes are in the heat-sink?

I had the same problem with the little flap.... I had to orientate the flap to its original position or it wouldn't attach..... you could try each screw in each hole.... failing that go as the d00ds above have recommended ;)
