View Full Version : whats with the video driver

ok check the pic out, it says tht the nvshell.dll file is Not Found.
iv installed the drivers correctly, and the driver cd doesnt have the nvshell.dll file in the cd.

would it be fine if i run games, my computer etc etc without that file.

and also can anyone recomend a good driver for the Gainward GF4 MX440

Not a good sign when you're got things missing...

ffs do the most obvious thing..

go to nvidia's or gainwards site and download the latest official drivers v29.42, try those..

download the 28.32 dets or whatever, and its in there.

Honestly, installing drivers off a cd, whats next, sliced bread?

indeed the constant posts about minor problems which could be easily solved by using your brain for all of 1 second..

hahha i knw what u mean, its jst when i buy new video cards i installed them frm the cd, then after that i start d/loading dfrnt drivers and see which one is faster.lmao

i Wasnt sure mate, guess what
i checked the new 28.32 drivers which i d/loaded off gainward site and it too doesnt have the nvshell.dll file. *sigh*

Dont bother with manufacturer specific drivers for cards.
Waste of time in my opinion.
Well, for Nvidia cards anyway....
