a bit behind the times. Direct X 8.1, AGP 2x/4x
but hey, I can see a card:)

This is the first bitboys card I've seen (save their first ever card which died a sad death).

Maybe these guys might actually (shock! horror!) have a product!

wow. looks strangely... minilistic... or is that just me?

[edit]

just noticed this from that site:

Axe builds on Bitboys patented XBA™ technology, and a complete prototype chip has been manufactured by Infineon Technologies on their 0.17 micron embedded DRAM process. As Infineon has closed down its embedded DRAM fabrication line, Bitboys will not bring Axe to the PC desktop market.

bah humbug!

this is all a load of s#1t, I mean, if they really wanna make a card, and they got the card designed, it's not such a big deal to make one,
their excuses are lame,
when are they gonna release some engineering samples for reviewing?

embedded DRAM was their big "technological advantage" in gaining bandwidth.

Obviously with nVidia/ATi going the other way: GPU with memory bandwidth saving tech, and high speed DDR memory, e-dram missed the boat.

Infineon was their big sponsor. I would be suprised if we see anything from bitboys ever.

I heard their funding was drying up. Maybe it was just a rumour. But I hate to think how much money has been sunk into Bit*we wouldn't know a graphics card if it jumped up and bit (no pun intended) us on the a$$*boys.

So if those guys can get funding for just every so often releasing some BS press release every few months, one question remains: How do I get me some of that action?
