yep what asantha linked should work, although be aware that some crap cards come with EPROM as opposed to EEPROM meaning you can't flash a new BIOS.

Overclock it in software to find the max stable OC using coolbits/NVmax/Geforce tweak utility/powerstrip etc, then reflash with modified timings...

TMCM, your avatar scares the sh!t out of me, more than mine does.

Glycerine, is that the top you can get out of that card? I have the 1st gen Leadtek GF2MX oldskool card, and using CoolBits I have it maxed out at Core 220, Mem 210

To go any higher, I have to run something like Powerstrip, and then I only get another 5mhz out of the RAM...

Is this normal, or does this card have a freakishly high threshold?

You have teh Leadtek power, SS - of course it will OC like a freak......... :D So it's normal for Leadtek, not for GF2MX's in general. :p

ok newer bios was BAD!!
so im back to my old bios with 210/185

now can someone tell me about sidebanding??
what dose it do and will i get much of a performace boost??

all i no about it is that it could make my card unstable??

From what I remember sidebanding was a 2-3% performance increase, but it made too many cards unstable. I don't think manufacturers even bother with it anymore.

Sidebanding is pretty much a waste of time.
Little to no performance increase in real world apps.
That extra .5 fps might matter if u are playing @ 1fps, but other than that.......
