Well, I've joined the 3.0 ghz group now...check it..
Pentium 4 2.26 ghz (533 FSB Northwood)
Running on a Gigabyte GA 8IEXP ...
17X177 FSB ..kicking....3009 mhz
Like a rock...43 C under load:p
Some benchies coming soon...

it'd be pretty hard for the benches not to be impressive at 3GHz. a shame it's bottlenecked by that DDR tho ;)

Yes.. it'll never be the perfect system..I mean you can't please everyone, but then I didn't build this system for you guys, it's for ME! :D
but hey, at least it does 3.0ghz and it should handle all the business work and Net surfing I do..
mmmm, I wonder how well Linux will run:eek:
And don't worry, I still have a AMD system as my server...I don't want to cause a Intel / AMD war....that's getting boring....

yeah, that definitely would be nice. Al though i thought he was using dual LCDs and a Ti4200.

nope, single LCD, and a Chaintech Ti4600, he never quite got a Ti4200 in there.. Gainward T4600 first, then Leadtek Ti4400, then Chaintech Ti4600, then Leadtek Ti4400, now a Chainteck Ti4600 again, as it is the only one he doesnt have random LCD reboot probs with.. the Leadtek Ti4400 now resides in my system with a 1.8A @ 2.4Ghz :D..

yeah, but the funny thing is in most cases (i.e. DDR mobos), only half that bandwidth is ever used. dual channel DDR P4 mobos are what i'm waiting for... to see how they stack up against RDRAM.
