Best Dets for GF2 Ti

I got a Leady Winfast GF2 Ti, I'm getting the new 29.42's but I hear that that older dets will be better for my card. If so what ones should I be usin?

23.11's. They're not necissarily THE fastest, but they ARE official nVIDIA drivers, and I believe they even come in a WHQL version ( so even XP won't complain that they're not tested ;) ).

You're likely to lose a little performance going to the latest drivers, though compatibility and stability will of course be better with the newer 29.42's - especially if you've got a particularily newer system ( mobo, CPU, etc ;) ).

Cheers KJ, I'm runnin 28.32's now but I'll bench the 29.42's the go back to the 23.11's and bench. You should make up a FAQ about the dets so dumbasses like me don't go around usin the wrong ones.

the 23.11s are probably one of the fastest for DirectX, but their OpenGL performance took a hit for some reason.

You're not using the WRONG ones. The latest ones will work fine. They're more stable and more compatible than any before - nothing wrong with them.

They just may not necissaryily be the FASTEST for older cards.... ;)
