I leeched trinity and beyond, the atomic bomb movie, at the last L3 (all 1.5gigs of it) and the b|tch won't play!

Iget the first 12 seconds and thats it!

Also, I can't fastforward, rewind, pause or anything, just play the first 12 secs.

I think it's to do with it's header being corrupted or something.

Does anyone know a program that can repair this damaged file?

I've tried splitting it with TMPGenc, no joy.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

Good tute!

But... it still wont work! I get the error "unable to create output file" after hitting start in VCDgear.

hmph.

maybe it's just trashed beyond repair...?

It kinda works in passive read mode, but only to 53% when it stops without an error message.

It's wierd.. I seem to be jinxed with this movie;

first...

I got it out from the library, put it in my VCR, and it chewed the tape up.

Played it through my VCR (when i'd fixed it) and the TV started scanning all funny, and promptly broke down...

Now i get it in Mpeg, it takes up a good slab of my storage, and it only plays the first 12 seconds!!!

I guess i'm lucky it hasn't formatted my drives or set it on fire or something...

What movie is it btw. I would've suggested recoding it in TMPGenc but that might only work with files that play fine but have some problems
