I never heard of Hercules, if this what it sez in the name $100 is a good deal no?
I was actually gonna sell my new gainward gf4mx440 golden sample ( for $50 less than I paid new) to get this as gf2 ti/gts are only what 20% slower than GF4mx440s
So I spose is it worth $150 yeh inc my loss on the mx440
If Hercules is good as gainward and leadtek and stuff then I reckon its ok , any issues with Hercules u know of?

Sounds better to me than getting a gf2mx for a bit less which I was gonna do

Hercules are the most kickazz brand for video cards ever, that card while probably not beating your gf4 will come colser than any other gf2 in exzistence

And Hercules is basically the card everyone here would only dream about having.

The GF3 ti500 costs about $300 more than a Leadteks gf4 ti4600 and the gf3 has half the memory

Yeah - but that's a supply and demand issue. Those GF3's are old stock - Hercules don't even make nVIDIA cards anymore... :D

But yeah, that's one hell of a good price.

If hercules dont make Geforces anymore am i gonna have trouble getting drivers or other compatibility issues in future? Or do u get drivers direct from NVidia not the "badge" as it were

No - you'd just use plain old detonator drivers like everyone else :P

O and after looking at KJs nVidia specs I looked at Toms VGA charts and GTS are quite a bit slower than Tis, I thought they were pretty much same, hmm bah I'll have to take at least a $50 loss on selling my mx440 so for $150+ for the GTS(inc my loss) I 'll stick with my mx440 as its 30-50% faster.
$100 is great price and i would have got it if I didnt already have this dam $275 card tho :(

Why would you want to downgrade for anyway?

Just for value, thought if I could sel my mx440 without much loss I could get a gf2ti or even mx 2nd hand which is all I need but gonna be hardly worth it after I lose $50+ on my existing card
