wiring a switch

heres a noob question.
I got a couple of toggle switches, one to switch my LED.
I found something thats looks OK.. tho its a 2A - 250WAC, so should handle a 12V DC job right?
OK.. its a 2 position toggle with 3 pins on the rear.
In one position the centre and left pin have continuity, the other position has the centre and right pin has continuity. (multimeter tested)

So its just a matter of hooking up say the left and centre pins to the 12V power lead. ?

like:

PSU +12V----[left pin(switch)centre pin]----LED +12V

and the right pin will be unused?

am I right sparky?
