Anyone found out if u can put a xp chip on this mobo?

Im getting sick of my 1.4ghz Tbird, I need something faster..

i wouldn't recommend it. the board will work with an XP chip up to 1700+, but not very well. the first problem you'll encounter is that it wont post until you hit the reset button after powering it on. after that it will most likely work fine, but it wont be the fastest XP 1700+ on the block....

i'd recommend leaving the 1.4ghz tbird in it and getting a new board.

im running a xp1700 on that board. its slow but runs fine :)
