as it was such a nice night out.. I decided to stay in and take a couple of snaps of my PC.
spent a few hours today tidying up the wiring with some of that plastic loom. Really works a treat too.
This is with an LED going.

and last one here with a black CC.
Nothing much modded in this one. All off the shelf, but I still stand and look at it for too long... :)

Damn that is tidy ... hopefully my case will be HALF as tidy as that when I am done upgrading it.
yep, that's nice, looks like some alien control box with the rounded IDE cables looking so cool with the blue LED's. :D :D

Nice :)
The blue LED seems to light up the case more than that AND the blue CC.
I REALLY like the black CC reaction on the rounded cables...very cool...now you need to subtley paint lightly on some edges with that phosphorescent paint so the edges of the boards glow ;)

awwwww can you make my case tidy?

The blue LED (its a 3 spreader) at the top is quite a lot less bright than the blue CC at the bottom of the case, but the exposure on the camera compensated for the lower light output.
The LED put out a nice understated glow on the insides, a lot more subtle that the blue CC.. which is good for full daylight use. (the CC that is)
And the motherboard and ram PCB edges put off a lovely green glow under the Black CC, something I wasn't expecting... but nice all the same. I think phosporescent paint might just look a little too garish , might be worth looking into tho.. :)

Glycerine, only the floppy cable is a single.
both HD cables have 3 connectors... the extra one for the CD is sitting on top of the CD, and I got 2 HD's connected to the other one.
I got the cables from pccasegear.com.au
I think the ones johnnyboy have are the same and a similar price, but as I was getting a load from Oz anyway I picked those up too.
Clear braided ? yes they are.
I have seen 2 connector silver round cables... in the states I believe...
but can find them now.. they were ATA 133 compatible...

Can you buy a tripple, and cut it up at the base if the second connector to get a double end IDE cable?

yeh i could, but i really dont like the idea of spending ~30$ on an ide cable and then cutting it...
id rather buy it like that...
oh well next time i need more space ill just have to buy 2 HDDs :p

Hey cool man, that looks really sweet! :D
Makes me feel guilty about all the electrical spaghetti inside my case, hehe.

Way neater than my case.
But then, your case ( judging by your mobo ) is about 20% bigger. And you've got half the ROM drives I have. And you've got 1/3rd the hard drives I've got. And you've got 1/4 the PCI cards I've got.
*sobs*
No hope for me :(
:D Good work man, lookin purty! :D
