GTA3 FPS Help.

ok iv installed Fraps to check out the amount of FPS im getting in GTA3.

So far im getting 30FPS at 800X600 (16bit) but it never goes higher than 30FPS,

Iv then decided to OC my CPU and OC my Video Card to see how much FPS increase ill get, and guess wht, it still stayed at 30FPS and once i saw it go to 31FPS and thts it.

i dont knw whts wrong, is there something in the GTA3 registry tht doesnt allow FRAPS to show higher than 30FPS.?????

Also is there any other way of checking out the FPS without installing FRAPS in GTA3.

and also which Mode is better on GTA3 32bit or 16bit

Turn off the frame rate limiter :rolleyes:
16bit is faster, while 32 bit looks nicer, go figure :P

I know what u mean tho, a tnt2 is painful tho :(

ahhh dam realized i average about 45-50 FPS in 1024X768X16bit, arghhhh still stuck with a GF2 Pro.

If turning off frame limiter works then do that, I have to use it as if I don't I still get about 60-80fps but it is hella jerky
